Breathe First: A Movement for Healing & Self-Love

Sis, let me ask you a question—when was the last time you stopped and put yourself first without feeling guilty about it? Too often, we’re out here pouring into everyone else while our own cup stays empty. But the truth is, you can’t give your best to anyone if you’re running on fumes. That’s why Full Figured Fierce created the #BreatheFirst Campaign.

Just like the stewardess says on the airplane, “Put your mask on first before helping anyone else.” That’s what #BreatheFirst is all about—reminding ourselves that healing, rest, and self-love are not selfish. They are necessary.

What is the #BreatheFirst Campaign?

It’s a movement to reclaim your breath, your power, and your peace. We’re asking women everywhere to pause, take ownership of their healing, and boldly declare: “I matter too.”

This campaign is leading us right into our most anticipated event of the year—Lipstick & Love Letters—where we’ll celebrate self-love, reflection, and the beautiful process of becoming whole.

How Do You Join the Campaign?

It’s simple, powerful, and personal.

1. Take a picture of yourself (raw, glam, or however you feel most YOU).

2. Write yourself a short note starting with:“Dear [your name], it’s time for me to Breathe First…”

3. Post it on your socials using #BreatheFirst and tag @FullFiguredFierce so we can share your story.

4. For an even deeper impact, you can also submit a short video (30 seconds or less) saying the words:“I want to heal from…”

This is your chance to make a public declaration that you’re choosing yourself—your healing, your peace, your joy—FIRST.
